  • DCYPPP Peer Coaching

    The Peer Coaching Program is funded by Children In Need. Twelve young people with a range of disabilities aged fourteen to nineteen are trained in Peer Mentoring. They support each other in pairs for up to 12 months. The young people are paired with others who are experiencing similar issues with he aim of improving their wellbeing.

  • DCYPPPP Influencing/Training

    Our Disability Awareness Training is an interactive training course delivered by staff and young people throughout Northern Ireland and can be delivered online over Video Conferencing. The purpose of the training is to challenge attitudes to disability and help individuals become more aware of Disability issues.

  • JSY Advocacy

    Who is the service for? The Barnardo’s Advocacy service is for children and young people aged 5 – 18-years-old who: • Have a Child Protection Plan or have an Initial Child Protection Review meeting planned. • Have a Child in Need Plan or professionals are looking to create an initial Child in Need Plan.

  • Let's Talk ASN Scotland

    A Scottish Government funded service for the parents of children with additional support needs who may require support in relation to a dispute with an educational authority and have the right to make a reference to the Additional Support Needs Tribunal for Scotland (ASNTS) The service is also available to 16/17year olds with additional support needs.

    PosAbility facilitates the involvement of Children and Young People with a wide range of learning, physical, sensory and medical conditions to be involved in high-level strategic planning with HSCB and SHSCT, enabling them to have their say in service developments that impact their lives.

  • Rochdale Sendiass

    Sendiass (Special Educational Needs Disability Information Advice Support Service) provides free impartial information, advice and support to disabled children and young people aged 0-25, and those with SEN, through their parents and carers. Young people aged 16+ can have support in their own right.
