Studies testing its effectiveness have found that LST can reduce the prevalence of risk taking behaviours by up to 75% and effects can last up to 12 years.

  • CYP MH Support in Acute Hospital Settings

    The CYP MH Support in Acute Hospital Settings will work in Whiston Hospital in St Helens. Proving support for CYP who present at ED and either get admitted onto the Paediatric ward.

  • CYP Mental Health Support in Acute Hospital Settings

    AIM of the service: To develop and deliver a MHWB Support service across the 4 Black Country acute Emergency Departments (ED’s). The service will have 4.5 dedicated MHWB support workers operating over the 4 sites, with a named support worker lead for each ED. Following presentation at EDs, Barnardo’s can support in the following ways:

  • Caern Community ND:well Service

    ND:well is a service in partnership with Tailor Ed and Autism Initiatives to provide support to Nuerodivergant children and young people and their families in Edinburgh. It is part of the Caern community service. We triage referrals to other services, signpost and support via drop ins and our mail box. We provide support to siblings of Nuerodivergant children.

  • Child & Family Support Service Dundee - Abuse Recovery

    Works with children and young people who have experienced abuse. Through a range of therapeutic supports the service aims to help children and their families recover from their experiences and rebuild family relationships. Training and consultation are also provided to other agencies and professionals.

  • Community Wellbeing Team (CWT)

    Barnardo’s Community Wellbeing Team works across Surrey Heath, Spelthorne, Waverley & Woking. We work with children and young people, aged 6-18 years, to help support emotional health and wellbeing as soon as a need is identified. The Community Wellbeing Team provides support in the following ways: Meeting with them for 1:1 support (up to 10 sessions)

  • Cumbria LINK - Young People’s Social Prescribing Service

    LINK is a Social Prescribing Service for Children and Young People aged 5 to 19 in Cumbria. LINK works alongside GP practice teams in Carlisle, Penrith & Eden, Keswick & Solway and Longtown & Brampton Primary Care Networks (PCN), to support children and young people with their emotional health and wellbeing.
