  • Bridgend Practical Home Management Service

    Our service is a volunteer led service where volunteers can offer one to one weekly support on practical home management matters. Our aim is to empower families by supporting them to gain skills to manage their home more effectively. Our volunteers can support you if you live in Bridgend County Borough Council and you are not receiving support from Adult or Children Social Services.

    The service that will support families who are pregnant and have children under the age of 3 years old. We will deliver early years services directly to families in their own home or in a local community venue through one-to-one sessions and also support them to access existing community services and group activities.

    Service providing holistic support for families who have a child or children who have a life-limiting condition and complex health needs. Support includes pre and post bereavement emotional support, as well as practical, advocacy and signposting support to parents/carers, child/young person and their siblings.

    The service provides support to parents of children aged 8-17 across Caerphilly. The support provided is individual to each family and aims to promote family resilience. Parents are supported to learn new skills and strategies to enhance their child’s health, well-being, and development. Parents can access support through individual and/or group programmes.
