  • Plymouth Advocacy and Independent Visitor Service

    This service provides adult advocates and Independent Visitors for children and young people from 6-24 who are in care, have a disability or are in a vulnerable situation. An advocate will provide them with support and a voice in a meeting which is about them and their life.

  • Sandwell Children in Care - Mental Health & Wellbeing

    Barnardo’s will provide a keyworker/short term intervention approach to conduct assessments and then deliver a co-ordinated package with the CYP’s wider support systems. An assessment tool, will be applied with a proposed 4 session follow up model, using advocacy and identification/representation of the YP needs, determining a co-ordinated workplan with the social worker/care.

  • Sandwell Children in Care - Placement Breakdown

    Barnardo’s will work for a dedicated period of up to 6 months. The work is intensive and will require an agreed timeframe to meet positive outcomes.

  • Sandwell Children in Care - Support for Care Leavers

    Barnardo’s has a therapeutic approach for children in care/transition who require support to emotionally regulate, address their trauma and improve their capacity/ability to engage fully into broader support and lifestyle (education, leisure, recreation and living skills).

  • Wirral Advocacy CP

    Wirral advocacy – Child protection We support young people who are aged 10-18 years old who have a child protection plan in place to support their family. We help young people to understand the child protection process and to share their views within this process to ensure that their voice is heard within the decision making process.

  • Wirral Advocacy for Children looked after & child protection

    Provide advocacy support if you are a child looked after or a care leaver from Wirral, you can request the support of an advocate up to the age of 24. You can have an advocate if you are living outside of Wirral or are in secure accommodation.
