    This service provides two lines of support including; * The Independent Visitors Service matches volunteers with Looked After Children and Young People. IVs provide support by visiting, befriending and mentoring Young People who have little or no contact with their birth families. IVs act as long-term befrienders/mentors, being matched for a minimum of 2 years with their Young Person.

    This service provides adult advocates and Independent Visitors for children and young people from 6-24 who are in care, have a disability or are in a vulnerable situation. An advocate will provide them with support and a voice in a meeting which is about them and their life.
