  • Barnardo's 4U Services: For U (Child Advocacy IOW)

    For U Advocacy provides issue based Advocacy support to Isle of Wight children and young people who are Looked After or on a Child Protection Plan. The service is for children and young people from aged 5 years until they are of care leaver's age up to 25 years.

  • Blackburn with Darwen Advocacy, IV & Mentoring and Befriending

    Barnardo's has been commissioned to deliver Advocacy, Independent Visitors and Mentoring for Blackburn with Darwen. The service will support children in care and care leavers to help them through key issues and ensure that their voices are heard. The service can also support children and young people who are on child protection plans.

    The service provides one to one support for young people in care who are in key stage 3 (year 9) and key stage 4 (year 10). We deliver therapeutic and practical support to young people who are experiences challenges related to their mental and emotional health, well-being and education.

  • Coventry and Warwickshire Children's Rights Service

    1. Advocacy to children who are Looked After by Coventry or Warwickshire LA, and also children who are Children in Need or homeless 16 and 17 year olds. We support children's participation at Looked After Reviews, Family Group Conferencing and Child Protection Conferences and other key decision making forums, including formal complaints to the LA.

    We help children and young people who are care experienced, live with foster carers, in residential homes or secure units or are care leavers. We advocate for them around issues of concern to them, to ensure their voices are heard

    Independent Children's Rights Service provided in partnership with Fife Council. Providing rights & Advocacy support for - Children aged 0-18 who are Looked After by the local authority - Children aged 0-18 who are affected by a disability - Children aged 5-18 attending an Initial or Review Child Protection Case Conference

    Advocacy is provided for children and young people aged 5+ who are on the child protection register or looked after at home or in a kinship placement under a compulsory supervision order.
