Bury SEND Ambassadors

What we do

A SEND Ambassador is a child or young person, young adult aged 7—25 with special educational needs and or/disabilities (SEND) who wants to be part of making services understand what works well for children and young people
An Ambassador will be involved in creating and leading events where you share yours and other’s experiences of education, health and social care with professionals who can listen and then do something about improving services for all children with SEND. There are lots of different roles and ways to be involved. Ambassadors are also part of a group that meets to make sure the SENDias service runs well too.
Young people will be a voice for all our services
