What we do
Barnardo’s Building Hope Academy based in Crystal Palace, South London delivers a construction skills based course for 16 - 19 rs who are not in education or employment. (up to 24 with an EHCP Plan) The aim of the programme is to unleash your potential, train you in construction trade and ensure your work ready to provide you with skills and knowledge to access employment.
On completion of the programme you will achieve and have the skills and knowledge in the areas of:
• Level 1 City and Guilds Construction Skill – Painting and Decorating, Plastering and Tiling
• Health and Safety Awareness & CSCS Card
• Dry-lining Upskilling Course
• Employability skills
• Functional Skills in Math and English
