A Barnardo’s CSA Core Priority Practice Project in relation to children and young people with harmful sexual behaviour. Early Intervention, Prevention & Transition Support.
Better Futures Cymru provides assessment and longer term therapeutic intervention services for children and young people with sexualised histories across Wales, including young people who have been the victims of sexual abuse; young people who display problematic or Harmful Sexual Behaviour; and young people who are at risk of or are abused through Child Sexual Exploitation. It is managed by Barnardo’s and is in partnership with six Local Authorities, including:
Taith, Harmful Sexual Behaviour Service;
Seraf, Child Sexual Exploitation Service;
Gobaith, Research and Prevention Service;
South Wales Police and Barnardo’s Child Advocacy Service (Missing Children), and;
Boys 2 Research and Practise, a Service for Boys who are at risk of CSE.

Supporting children and young people to recover from sexual abuse, as well as family counselling, preventive and awareness-raising programmes.
Sexually harmful behavior
Working with children, young people, families and professionals to help understand the behaviour, build self-worth, keep safe and make the right choices to improve life chances.
