From clothing to toys, homeware and much more, Gifts in Kind are donations of products from brands, manufacturers, retailers and other businesses, which are processed and distributed to a network of over 600 Barnardo’s shops around the UK. At the heart of our mission are our nationwide drivers who commit to collecting goods from shops and warehouses. We then sort and process every item before they land on shop shelves for customers to buy.
Barnardo's shoppers simply can’t get enough of our donated goods. We’re always on the lookout for enticing stock to keep them coming back for more. That's why we love receiving business donations – because every Gift in Kind helps us fundraise more effectively, ensuring we can continue to protect, support, and nurture vulnerable children and young people. Though most importantly, with every feel-good donation, you’re playing a critical role in supporting vulnerable children, young adults, and their families. You’ll even be doing your bit for the planet by managing your excess and end of line stock sustainably, giving every item a chance to find a home and avoid landfill. This undoubtedly enhances your Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
We have drivers nationwide and would be delighted to pick up any items that you may have. We have experience of collecting from branches and warehouses, and will remove any labels or packaging if required, to keep the cost of donating to a minimum.
Business donations allow you to showcase your products and brand name to fresh eyes and secure more customers. If you donate goods you make or sell, you can also claim tax relief.
