Barnardo’s Scotland is teaming up with other shops on MacNeish Way, in Stewartfield, East Kilbride, to organise its first ever local Christmas Fair.
The event will take place on Saturday 16th November at the Stewartfield Community Centre, and will include craft stalls, music from the Anyone Can Sing choir and Santa’s Little Belters, plus festive drinks and snacks outdoors from local restaurant Brew 74.
There will also be a chance to meet Mr and Mrs Santa Claus at the Barnardo’s Scotland shop at 5 MacNeish Way, Stewartfield, G74 4TT.
Emma Gillies who is organising the event, is Branch Manager of Barnardo’s Scotland Stewartfield store. She says: “I’d like to thank everyone who is supporting our first Christmas Fair. It’s a great opportunity to raise awareness of local businesses, tell people about opportunities to volunteer at Barnardo’s Scotland store and raise funds for our vital work helping vulnerable families, children and young people. We hope to see you there!”
Stewartfield Christmas Fair will take place on Saturday 16th November, from 12pm to 5pm, at Stewartfield Community Centre, 3 MacNeish Way, East Kilbride, Glasgow G74 4TT.
Mr and Mrs Claus will be at the Barnardo’s Scotland shop, 5 MacNeish Way, from 12pm-3pm, £4 per child, including gift.
