Final call for skydiving Santas to raise money for Barnardo’s

Release Date: 01 Dec 2017

It’s the final call for thrill-seekers to sign up for a festive leap of faith to raise funds for the UK’s leading children’s charity Barnardo’s .

Don a special Santa suit and soar as high as Rudolf, Donna and Blitzen before jumping out of a plane, free falling through the air at 120mph and then drifting gently to the ground by parachute during this exciting tandem skydive.

Completing such an exhilarating stunt will leave participants with a feel good factor knowing they’re helping the charity to continue its vital work supporting hundreds of thousands of children, young people, parents and carers around the UK.

There are still places left for you to join Team Barnardo’s in this thrilling fundraising opportunity, which takes place at seven Skyline Parachuting sites in Lancaster, Nottingham, Cambridgeshire, Salisbury, Swansea, Brackley, and St Andrews in Scotland, on Saturday, December 9.

There is lots of incentive to skydive for Barnardo’s: you will get the support and advice from a dedicated events team, a Barnardo’s challenge t-shirt and the satisfaction of knowing that you are helping vulnerable children.

Barnardo’s senior events manager, Matt Short said:

This is a great opportunity to experience something incredible and thrilling while raising money for a hugely worthy cause.

Doing the jump dressed as Santa adds to the fun and gives a  festive twist!

We want as many people to sign up as possible as every penny goes towards helping Barnardo’s to continue its crucial work.

Registration is £70 with a minimum sponsorship target of £395.
