A message from our Chief Executive
If you want to help create a better world for vulnerable children across the UK, keep on reading.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to play a leading role in shaping a movement committed to changing children’s lives and the systems around them for the better.
Barnardo’s is the largest national children’s charity in the UK. Each year we support around 300,000 children, young people, parents and carers through over 1000 vital services, and by running over 700 stores in our UK-wide retail network.
Following a refresh of our ambitious ten-year Corporate Strategy, Better Outcomes for More Children, we are appointing five new senior leadership roles to help drive the next phase of our historic journey. This is about meeting the needs of children today, but also preparing for the future.
We are looking for a cohort of exceptional leaders whose passion and enthusiasm are matched by experience, expertise and an ability to think ‘big picture’ whilst driving change and inspiring colleagues and partners.
I joined the magical Barnardo’s journey over five years ago and every day since has been a privilege. I’m here because I believe we can create a better world for vulnerable children and young people – that’s what drives me. If you want to be part of this journey, we look forward to hearing from you.
