Climb a virtual mountain
While we can’t head out and climb a mountain at the moment, why not do it virtually from home? Can you summit the height of Ben Nevis, Kilimanjaro or even Everest?
You can complete your virtual mountain by walking the steps to the top as part of your daily exercise or reaching the height of its peak on your stairs. Here’s how many steps are needed for some of our favourite mountains!

During these uncertain times it is essential that you look after your health and wellbeing, while following the guidance set out by the Government and the NHS around social distancing and self-isolation. Therefore please ensure while taking part in any virtual challenges you are doing so alone and in a quiet, local area. This is especially important if you care for a vulnerable person/people. Check for the latest information here: gov.uk/coronavirus. If you become injured during your virtual challenge please cease from the activity and seek medical advice.
