Whether you want to increase your fitness, make the most of your daily exercise with a step challenge or complete a virtual run we’ve got the event for you.

It’s just £5 per person to register for your personal challenge and we’ll be on hand with loads of tips and encouragement throughout to keep you motivated and moving.

Family Fitness Challenge

You’ll get fit, have fun and even get a medal when you reach your goal! Sign up your family and you’ll receive a 30 day plan filled with activities to undertake each day. Have fun ticking off daily activities with plans tailored for all ages and abilities from under 5’s to Mum and Dad.

300,000 Steps Challenge

Barnardo’s supports 300,000 children each year, will you join us for the 300,000 step challenge?  Choose to take on 10,000 steps a day over 30 days or take on the challenge as a shared goal with your family. Get walking and help raise funds so we can be there for every child that needs us.

Virtual Run Challenges

Choose any distance to suit you from a 10k to an ultra-marathon. If you’ve missed out on an event this year, you can still achieve your goal. Sign up for a virtual run around your neighbourhood and we’ll be your virtual cheer squad encouraging you every step of the way.

Climb a virtual mountain 

While we can’t head out and climb a mountain at the moment, why not do it virtually from home? Can you summit the height of Ben Nevis, Kilimanjaro or even Everest?

You can complete your virtual mountain by walking the steps to the top as part of your daily exercise or reaching the height of its peak on your stairs. Here’s how many steps are needed for some of our favourite mountains!
