A note to supporters:
We are so grateful for your support. Without you we simply could not continue changing children’s lives across the UK for the better.
As part of our commitment to supporters like you, we work with partner organisations to understand more about how you feel about our work. Unfortunately, we’ve been made aware that one of these partners was recently subject to an IT security incident where some of the data they hold was accessed by an unauthorised third party.
After speaking to this partner and to security experts we do not have any evidence to suggest that Barnardo’s supporters’ data has been compromised. We also want to assure supporters that our partner did not hold sensitive information such as banking details or identity documentation.
If this situation changes, or we receive any evidence that our supporters’ data was compromised we will of course write out to anyone who could be affected individually.
We take the protection of our supporters’ data extremely seriously and we will always be vigilant in ensuring that any data you share with us is protected. If you have any concerns about this or would like to discuss further then please do contact our Supporter Care team.
You can email them directly or select 'Fundraising' in the drop down on the form below.
