We’re here to help you with the effects of Covid-19
Are you worried about the effects of the pandemic on your life? We are here to support children, young people and their families. If you need help with going back to school, parenting advice, mental health and counselling, coping with family stress and more, get support now.
Play the Barnardo’s Weekly Lottery
By playing for just £1 per week, you’ll be helping to transform children’s lives. And, of course, be in with a chance of winning amazing cash prizes. You could win £1,000 every week, plus up to £15,000 in our superdraws.
We protect, support and nurture the UK's most vulnerable children
Barnardo's helps bring out the best in children – no matter who they are or what they have been through.
For every £1 you donate, we spend 92p on working with the children and young people who most need our help.
Fostering with Barnardo's
The number of children needing foster care has risen by 44% while the number of people looking to foster has fallen by nearly half. Without more foster carers coming forward, hundreds of children referred to our services won’t be placed with a loving family.
We support children who have been abused and help them feel safe again. We provide the long-term support they need and help prevent further cases of abuse.
Supporting young people
We offer practical and emotional support to young people so they can enter adulthood with the confidence they need to achieve their full potential.
Volunteer with us
Choose how and when to volunteer and we'll give you all the training and support you need.
