No Limits
Barnardo’s has launched a volunteering DVD to encourage more young people to volunteer, especially those who would otherwise be hard to reach.
Funded by the DfES, No Limits is a new resource for organisations working with young people to encourage them to engage in volunteering.
The volunteers featured in the film come from all walks of life, from a reformed drug user through to a young girl with Down's syndrome. All the volunteers featured stand as role models for other 16-25 year olds who never thought volunteering would be for them. The short film shows how volunteering is a positive activity for anyone to engage in and reflects the variety of forms volunteering can take.
