“Hi my name is Muhammad and I have been with Barnardo’s for nearly two years. I started as a Helpdesk Analyst taking first line support calls. From here I went onto the Problem Management Team and was involved in 2nd line support as well as investigating the underlying causes of some of the problems we encountered.
Recently I have moved on again and have joined the Account Management team. In this position I will be involved in some aspects of training.
In my time with Barnardo’s my career path has developed as well as my knowledge base thanks to the PDS scheme which is in place for all IT personnel. This is an industry recognised method for staff development and is endorsed by the British Computer Society.
Members of the IT section are all very friendly and supportive of one another and as such the working atmosphere is very relaxed and enjoyable”.
