Worcestershire Short Breaks Project

Barnardo’s Worcestershire Short Breaks Project works in partnership with Worcestershire County Council Childrens Services to support disabled children and their families. We work with children who have physical and / or learning disabilities.

Children have only one chance of a childhood. They deserve to enjoy good emotional, mental and physical health, to be protected from harm and to feel they belong in their community. We know that a small amount of regular time from  a specially trained and approved carer/support worker or volunteer can really make a big difference to a child and their family.

We provide a range of short breaks including overnight care, 1:1 supoprt in the community and youth groups.
