Developments
Assistant Director - Elizabeth McShane
Elizabeth covers a range of development areas. She develops and establishes new areas of work, service innovation and replication of best practice. Central to this role is effective partnership working across a wide range of agencies. Since taking up the post in 2007 Elizabeth has established Barnardo’s Works nationally, including rural based services. She currently has the strategic lead for the development of services in criminal justice; this includes Plan-B in HM Young Offenders Institute (YOI) Polmont and HMP YOI Cornton Vale and the Scottish Prison Service Youth Work contract.
The developments function in Barnardo’s Scotland is always listening and learning from others and we’re keen to share our experiences wherever possible.
