Specialist Areas
The pioneering front line work and research of Barnardo’s North West has led to the identification of four specialist areas
- child sexual exploitation and the trafficking of children
- asylum seeking children and the children of new immigrants
- parent prisoners and their families
- work in BME communities
As pioneers in these areas Barnardo's North West are willing to invest in promoting the needs of these groups and, in partnership with the regions commissioning agencies, providing much needed services for them.
