About Barnardo's North West

Barnardo's in the North West provides vital services for more than 21,000 children, young people and their families. Our community-based services across the North West provide practical, positive and family-centred solutions.
Quality and best practice are at the heart of all Barnardo’s North West activities. We have extensive experience of working in partnership with commissioning agencies to offer mutual benefits and tailored services aimed at achieving each of the Every Child Matters outcomes. Our specialised services can help meet key Public Service (PSA) and local agreements.
All of our work is supported by a range of policies, procedures and training and development programmes which ensure our staff are constantly motivated to keep up to date with practice.
We bring effective line management systems, financial planning structures, human resources and training expertise, property services support, policy research and public relations know how. Above all, we work in partnership with the users of our services.
