Our local corporate supporters share Barnardo's vision and work in partnership with us to help raise awareness and the funds needed to transform the lives of thousands of local children every year.

Bassetts held their annual Christmas raffle in aid of Barnardo's NI this year. Bassetts staff, suppliers and customers generously supported the raffle raising an estimated £3,500!

Bassetts are supporting Barnardo's NI as their charity partner for two years. We are really delighted to have their support.

Tobermore Christmas giving

Tobermore, a specialist paving company based in Magherafelt, has donated £20,000 to Barnardo's NI in lieu of giving corporate gifts and cards again this Christmas.

It is the forth year running Tobermore has donated in this way to Barnardo's NI. We are very honoured and value their continued generosity.

Disney share the magic this Christmas

The Disney store in Belfast held it's Magical Giving Tree Appeal in aid of Barnardo's NI again this Christmas.

Thanks to the generosity of it's customer the store donated 160 Disney toys to our services for disadvantaged children in Northern Ireland. We are very grateful for Disney's continued support!

Lifestyle Sports give Euros for Likes

Between now and Christmas, Lifestyle Sports will donate €1 to Barnardo’s for every new ‘like’ on the Lifestyle Sports Facebook page.

Why? Because Lifestyle Sports have committed to raising €20,000 for Barnardo’s north and south of the border to help vulnerable and disadvantaged children locally.

IKEA Soft Toy Campaign supports Barnardo's NI

Not every family can afford Christmas and sadly some children may have to go without. This year IKEA Belfast are encouraging it’s customer in-store to buy a soft toy and donate it to Barnardo’s NI to help make a child's Christmas.

Terra Travel gives back to local children

Terra Travel has launched a new scheme called Give a Child a Break, whereby the company has pledged to donate 2.5% or more from the sale of every holiday booked to Barnardo's Northern Ireland.

The scheme means that holiday makers and travellers alike can now enjoy a holiday or short break away knowing that they've helped give a local child to a chance to a better life at no extra cost to them. For more information visit Give a Child a Break.

the streat launches new sandwich in aid of Barnardo's NI

To mark a new charity partnership with Barnardo’s NI the streat franchise of coffee shops is donating 20 pence from the sale of each of its new sandwich, ‘Hot Stuff’, to the children’s charity.

The sandwich, made of succulent roast beef, cracked black pepper mayonnaise, roasted red peppers and red onions wrapped up in either toasted ciabatta roll or Panini, was designed by Barnardo’s catering trainee, twenty-one year old Samantha Feeney from Finaghy, as part of the streat’s sandwich design competition with the charity.

JP Corry goes green for Barnardo's NI

JP Corry, Northern Ireland's leading supplier of timber and building materials, has announced the launch of its new two-year 'together' charity partnership with Barnardo's NI.

The new partnership was celebrated with a ‘Go Green’ week of fundraising activities which took place across the network of 18 JP Corry branches. The ‘Go Green Week’ raised £1,500 by holding  green-iced bake sales, green-only fancy dress days, office bingo, prize draws and running events.

Sweet for Life making life sweeter

Sweets for Life Ltd, the company which provides sweet honesty boxes in local workplaces, is celebrating raising over £50,000 for Barnardo’s NI in the past three years.

Sweets including old favourites such as wine gums, white mice, jelly beans and chocolate buttons, as well as more decadent double chocolate truffles, rum truffles and Turkish delight are sold for £1 a bag with the profits going to Barnardo’s NI.

AES Kilroot Power supports Barnardo's NI

AES Kilroot, a carrickfergus based  a power station, producer of one third of Northern Ireland's electricity has chosen Barnardo's NI as its charity of the year in 2011.

Royal Mail Group, the parent company of Royal Mail, Post Office and Parcelforce Worldwide, has been showing its support for local children and young people since 2008 when employees within the group voted Barnardo's to become its national charity partner.

How to get your company involved

There are a number of ways in which your company can get involved to support the work of Barnardo's Northern Ireland, these include; employee fundraising and volunteering, payroll giving, donating gifts in kind, corporate sponsorship and donations, cause-related marketing as well as choosing to support Barnardo's as your company's charity of the year. Our promise is that every penny raised in Northern Ireland is spent locally.
