Barnardo’s shops fund our vital work helping the UK’s most vulnerable children and young people transform their lives and fulfil their potential. All profits from the stores go back into Barnardo’s projects so that they can provide the support that children and young people need.
In the Greater Manchester area, Barnardo’s Retail has fourteen shops, including a specialist books and music store in Withington. In this time of economic crisis, Barnardo's shops are perfect for guilt-free shopping and bargain hunting.

Volunteering and donating to Barnardo's shops
Our shops rely on constant donations of high quality household items and clothes, and we need more volunteers in our branches.
Don’t let your wardrobe clutter up! All stores require donations of good quality stock. In particular, we urgently require donations of handbags, shoes and ladies accessories, as these are the items we run out of most quickly.
