Help fund our local work

More families live on the breadline in Manchester than anywhere else in the UK* and the recession has made it more difficult to provide their children with essential items. With your support, we can make a real difference to the lives of these children. Donate online today.

Barnardo’s runs nine projects in Manchester to support local children and young people who face the hardships of poverty, physical disability, sexual exploitation and discrimination.

Services include:

  • housing and welfare advice for families
  • long term emotional and practical support for people at risk of sexual exploitation
  • vocational training to help improve a child’s opportunities in adulthood
  • support for young people making the transition from life in care to one of independence.

Donate online today and help the children in Manchester.
