Opened September 1943 for children of all ages. September 1947 moved to Lund Lane, Killinghall, Harrogate and called Bruce Porter Hospital Home School for boarders and day pupils. Became a residential school in 1965, which closed in 1999 and the land was subsequently sold by Barnardo’s.
