Opened in 1911 as a general hospital, modern and well equipped for its day. Children were admitted from all Barnardo homes and foster homes. Later combined with John Capel Hanbury Hospital and became a home for children with physical and learning disabilities.
Closed July 1975. Children transferred to New Mossford.
