The Child Bereavement Service
The service was started in 1998 and provides a wide range of therapy, training and consultancy to support children whose lives have been devastated by trauma and grief following the death of a loved one.
The service helps families communicate and helps children to feel more positive about the future.

The Child Bereavement Service offers:
- four qualified staff and a team of dedicated volunteers
- individual and group support up to 18 years old
- an advice line that families and professionals concerned about a bereaved child can contact for information and advice telephone number 028 9069 4000
- training and information for parents and professionals particularly in schools
- residential work for children and families bereaved through suicide
- training to professionals to support bereaved children.
