This exploratory research study aimed to increase understanding of how to meet the needs of children and young people with learning disabilities who experience, or are at risk of, child sexual exploitation (CSE).

This UK-wide research study was commissioned by Comic Relief and addresses a significant gap in current understanding of the sexual exploitation of children and young people with learning disabilities. This report outlines the research findings and is one of a number of products of the study. These include: an executive summary, an easy-read summary of the report, a practice guide and nation-specific briefing papers.
