Our services support parents, carers and families in the community and in diverse cultural circumstances. We provide guidance and advice to support vulnerable children and their families.

Independent Support

Our services provide Independent Supporters advice and support for parents of children with special educational needs (SEN), and young people with SEN. We can provide a range of time-limited support tailored to the particular needs of individual families and young people.

We give individual support through befriending services, short break care, day care and respite breaks for the family.

Parenting Programmes

We offer training programmes and workshops, family learning activities, community based development support and family mediation services.

Short Breaks for Disabled Children

We provide short breaks for disabled children, providing sitter services, befriending and individual support. We emphasise building confidence and independence through inclusive play, play/holiday schemes and enabling social inclusion and skills.

Young Carers

Our services provide vital support for young carers who look after an adult family member who has a serious illness or disability. We help them to have time to do what they want to do and take part in activities. We also engage with educational services to reduce the risk of social exclusion or underachieving.
