Aim
- To develop insight into child development and attachment in order to facilitate engaging play opportunities that build on emotion regulation and social skills.
- To enhance play skills that facilitates healthy relationships between children and carers.
Learning outcomes
By the end of the session participants will be able to:
- build on personal and professional practices, utilising creative and developmental processes
- develop a practical tool box, flexible enough for a diverse range of needs and abilities
- to increase appropriate responses to the diverse range of needs and abilities presented to workers
- to acknowledge the potential emotional impact upon workers, in order to support personal and practical effectiveness
- link theory to practice based evidence for improved outcomes
- utilise a frame work for reflective learning and continuing professional practice development
