Q. Who can access our services?

A. Any family with children under the age of 11 years living in West Wiltshire who feels that our services may be of help.

Q. Is there a waiting list?

A. We do have a waiting list for some services such as certain groups or individual work. When you contact us we will let you know how long you may have to wait. Some services do not have a waiting list at all.

Q. How do I refer myself to you?

A. You can either contact us yourself by phone or ask someone else (e.g. GP, social worker, health visitor) to make a referral for you .You will need to complete a form if you let us know, we can help you with this, or you can ask someone else to do it for you.

Q. Do I need to come to you? What if I don’t have transport?

A. In some circumstances we may be able to help by providing transport for you to get to us. Sometimes it may be appropriate for us to visit you at home.

Q. Will it cost me anything?

A. We do not charge for our services apart from a very small charge to use the washing machine and drier.

Q. When are you open?

A: We are open 9am-5pm Monday to Thursday and 9am – 4.30pm on Fridays but we recommend you phone first to make sure someone is available to see you.

Q. Do you keep records about me?

A. We do keep some records depending on the service we offer you. You will be told about this when you first come to the centre and you are welcome to see the information we hold about you at any time.

Q. Is the information confidential?

A. We do not share any information with anyone outside the centre or with any other service user without your consent unless we have reason to believe that someone is in danger or a criminal offence is being committed.

Q. What do I do if I want to be a volunteer at the centre?

A. We have a volunteer coordinator here who will be happy to speak with you alternatively you can speak to any of the staff.
