Barnardo's Tapestry West Wiltshire Intensive Family Service

At the Tapestry Service we aim to provide a friendly and flexible service for families in West Wiltshire with children under 11 years old.

We run groups and work on an individual basis with children and their families, who have experienced trauma.

Group Work

Specific group work will be provided for both children and adults; this would be linked to the other services provided by the project.

For Adults:

• Hope Group: Non abusing carers group.
• Being a Parent Group
• Attachment Workshop
• Assertiveness Workshop

For Children:

• Children’s Voice
• Explorers: Children who have experienced Domestic Violence.
• Anger Management Group

Individual Work

This would occur with both children and adults and could clearly involve children and parent and / or sibling sessions. We would undertake this work to enable children and families to address the effects of trauma in their lives.
