School leavers
At the end of each school year the school holds a celebration assembly. This assembly recognises the achievements of all pupils but in particular those young people who are leaving.
Each school leaver plants a tree in the school grounds.
When young people leave Spring Hill School they may move on to a range of destinations which can include:
- specialist day provision in the home area
- specialist residential provision
- a local college in the home area
- employment.
In 2008 we had four school leavers whose progress is detailed below:
- two young people gained employment
- one young person went home and accessed their local college
- one young person chose to remain in the local area and benefits from supported living and accessing local community facilities.
Please contact us for more information about our school leavers.
