Curriculum policy
Our curriculum is tailored to meet the needs of individual pupils. This allows each pupil to work at a pace best suited to their needs within the context of a challenging and stimulating learning environment. We have high expectations of all our pupils and our curriculum is designed to help them achieve their full potential.
We adopt a comprehensive approach to education, focusing on academic as well as social, personal and vocational development. Our curriculum helps our pupils to develop a broad range of skills to prepare them for the responsibilities and opportunities they will face as adults.
Our curriculum includes:
- all aspects of the National Curriculum
- careers planning, work experience and a range of vocational courses
- day trips, guest speakers and school theme days.
