Barnardo's South City Project

Barnardo's South City Project works with a wide variety of issues concerning children, young people and their families. We work with families where there are relationship difficulties between parents and their children, families where there are issues around drug and alcohol misuse, anti social behaviour, and where domestic violence is present. We also work with a number of children who are on the Child Protection Register and our aim is to reduce the significant concerns that exist.

We are based in the North West Region. Our services fit in with Barnardo’s basis and values and the six building blocks, and are designed to meet the needs of children and families as identified in Every Child Matters.

Our main office is in Garston, close to Liverpool John Lennon Airport. Three services are based at South City – the Family Support Service; Independent Visitors Service, and Family Group Conferencing Service. We also have a Volunteer Service.
