Barnardo's Source Volunteer Scheme works in partnership with Source, which is a young persons' drug and alcohol service for under 18’s in Reading.

Our volunteer scheme is managed by a co-ordinator who is responsible for recruiting, training and supporting a team of volunteers. These volunteers go out and empower people in Reading to respond in a positive way to all substances (which includes solvents and alcohol as well as illegal drugs) and the problems they cause.
