Donate electrical goods to charity

Barnardo's can convert your unwanted goods into valuable money to help fund our work with vulnerable children by recycling them.
Recycling also helps conserve our planet for the future of today’s children. Here are some ways you can help:
Recycle your gadgets including phones and mp3 players
Barnardo's are in partnership with Royal Mail Simply Drop and have launched a new electrical and electronic recycling scheme.
By donating your unwanted mobile phones, digital cameras or MP3 players for recycling, you can help Barnardo's help vulnerable children across the UK.
To donate your items, simply take your old devices to your local Barnardo's store and hand them to a member of staff who can send them off for you or pick up a freepost envelope at the counter to take home and then you can pop the items in the post yourself.
Find your local Barnardo's shop »
If there is no Barnardo's store near you, then you can order your freepost envelope from the Simply Drop website.
Donate printer cartridges
Over 30 million printer cartridges are thrown away in the UK each year and almost 27 million of these unwanted printer cartridges can be recycled or re-used.
Barnardo’s receives 50p for each recyclable inkjet sent to our freepost address
So donate your old printer cartridges today by sending them to:
