National Curriculum for Key Stages 3 and 4

All pupils have access to an entitlement curriculum including the National Curriculum, within a framework that supports individual educational needs. The specific needs of each pupil are recognised within an ‘Individual Education Plan’ and ‘Care Plan’, which are developed by the class teacher, care worker and the pupil and monitored regularly at 6 monthly and annual reviews. The SENCO develops and supports individual ‘catch-up’ programmes where appropriate.

Morning school starts and finishes with intensive literacy sessions.
