Salford Cornerstone

At Salford Cornerstone, we help children in the Salford area to move forward from their experiences of sexual or domestic abuse.  We do this by providing therapeutic work in a safe environment.  We also provide support their families and safe carers where needed, and provide Consultation and training to other professionals and carers.

We take referrals from social workers for individual pieces of therapeutic work.

Last year we worked individually with 23 children and 14 parents.  We ran two groups for children and parents and provided 38 on-going Consultations to other professionals, where there was no social worker involved with the child or family.

We work closely with Salford Children’s Services who co-fund the service.
