Barnardo's Big Bean Challenge
This practical activity challenges children to plant and care for their own runner bean and watch it grow into a beanstalk. This gives the children a sense of responsibility whilst also learning about the things plants need in order to grow. It also helps them learn key curriculum concepts such as measuring.
