Educational resources for school children
Welcome to Barnardo’s teachers' recources for primary schools! Each activity links to areas of the national curriculum such as PSHE, Science, P.E, Art and Design, literacy and numeracy. The fun challenges and activities engage children while promoting a sense of achievement.
To help you, we have made the activities as user friendly as we can. That’s why we have provided lesson plans alongside a variety of materials to use. The lesson plans are adaptable to suit any teacher’s time and workload. So you can use as much or as little as you like!
Children and schools that participate will receive stickers and certificates to thank them for their efforts. Schools in England will also receive an Every Child Matters certificate to display.
Taking part is not only a great way for children to learn about those less fortunate than them, they raise money for a great cause too.
