Action for Prisoners' Families
Action for Prisoners' Families (APF) is the national organisation acting as the voice for the concerns of prisoners' families across the UK. They also run a helpline for familes at www.prisonersfamilieshelpline.org.uk The helpine can provide information and support to anyone with a relative or friend in prison anywhere in England and Wales.

Child Accident Prevention Trust
This Trust works to reduce accidental death and injury in children and young people. They are also the organisers of Child Safety Week – last week in June every year. There are lots of information and resources available.

The Child Brain Injury Trust
Supports children and young people who have an acquired brain injury, and their families.

ChildLine
A help line for parents and children to go to when in need of help and advice!

Coram Family

Run by sufferers of depression, this site provides excellent advice in relation to depression.

Supports and provides information to parents about maintaining relationships with their children after a family breakdown.

Home-Start is a family support charity in the UK. Home-Start volunteers offer friendship, support and practical help to families with at least one child under five years old.

A useful website detailing services for families with a disabled child.

Sargent Cancer Care for Children
Provides professional help and practical care to children (under 21 years of age) diagnosed with cancer, and to their families. Supports the family at home and in the hospital from the day of diagnosis. Gives financial assistance to families in need. Provides short therapeutic holidays for these young people and their families.

SOSCN is the national organisation for out of school care in Scotland, representing public, private and voluntary providers. Their mission is to support and develop high quality school-aged childcare in Scotland.
