How we can help

Child playing on garden swing, Barnardo's Ravensdale Project

Barnardo's Ravensdale Project aims to help young children thrive and be happy through play and learning. Our services are for:

  • children with severe learning difficulties or profound multiple difficulties
  • children who are disabled or with a serious medical condition, or physical/sensory difficulties where assessment is required
  • children who are presenting with global developmental delay
  • children with Autistic Spectrum Disorders
  • children who are on the Child Protection Register or who are deemed 'at risk'
  • children who have a sibling on the autistic spectrum
  • parents who need support in parenting.

Referrals are made to Ravensdale by health visitors, doctors, social services and education services. Talk to one of these professionals or the centre if you are concerned about your child/family and think they need or would benefit from our services.

Once your child has been offered a place they will be able to access:
