Lancashire Woman of the Year Event and Award Ceremony

2012 will be the 23rd year this award is presented and there is a full day planned, set in the wonderful surroundings of Mytton Fold Hotel. On arrival, enjoy a cup of coffee and the chance to browse the stalls selling designer handbags, jewellery and accessories.  Followed by a three course meal, raffle, speaker and presentation of the award. 

About the award: Lancashire Woman of the Year is a woman who has given more than 100% of her time, money, effort and hard work to her chosen charity or cause and goes for the most part unrewarded.  Over the last 23 years we have had such diverse types of women nominated and have won including Nurses, Head Mistresses, Actresses, Charity Fundraisers, Salvation Army Officers, Housewives, Soroptimists and women who have overcome tremendous illnesses and still have had time to raise funds or awareness for their chosen project or charity.
