Nicola Roberts Announced As Barnardo's Ambassador
Barnardo's has honoured singer Nicola Roberts with an Ambassadorial Role in regonition of her outstanding commitment and support. Nicola was welcomed to the Barnardo's Head Office in Barkingside to receive her award from Chief Executive Anne Marie Carrie.
Nicola, who has already met several of the young people Barnardo's works with said,
"I’m a huge supporter of Barnardo’s and its work with the most disadvantaged children and families in the UK. I am extremely honoured to take on an Ambassadorial Role.”
Anne Marie Carrie said:
“It was lovely to meet Nicola and to formally thank her for supporting the charity. Our celebrity ambassadors help us in so many ways from fundraising to awareness building and networking opportunities. Nicola’s support is invaluable and this Ambassadorial role is well deserved”.
