Puddles of fun
Rain wasn’t enough to dampen thespirits of model Laura Bailey and actress Helen McCrory, when they joined 200 children, parents, carers at Kenwood House, for the launch of this summer’s Barnardo’s Big Toddle. ‘It was fun despite the weather,’ said Laura, who walked the course with her son. ‘It’s the first time that my son was old enough to walk the Kenwood Toddle and it was really special. This is something I always try to support and next year I hope to bring my new little one.’
Thank you also to Melinda Messenger, who took time out recently to help launch this year’s event; Robert Daws and Amy Robbins, who promoted the toddles during an interview with OK! magazine, and also Jennifer James and Julie Wilson Nimmo, who will be taking part in one of the many toddles taking part up and down the country.
Now in its twelfth year, this year’s Barnardo’s Big Toddle aims to raise £2.1million.
