Freeman Centre opening
Actress Michelle Collins attended the opening of one of Barnardo's new projects recently and spoke about the charity's work. She joined local dignitaries, councillors and the Freeman family at the launch of the Freeman Family Centre in Willesden. The centre is a family assessment and contact service which is managed by Barnardo's with funding from the Freeman Trust and Brent Council.
Children's Service manager at the Freeman's Family Centre, said: 'This is a creative "home from home" resource which seeks to develop the full potential of every child and adult to really make a difference to the lives of Brent's children and families'.
