Mark Knopfler donates to Barnardo's
Helping Barnardo’s children, Mark has made a very generous donation from his charitable trust to Barnardo’s. He also pledged further support at his concert held at the Royal Albert Hall recently, by giving the charity permission to distribute donation envelopes throughout the venue.
Julian Walker, UK Director Policy and Research, who spoke at the concert said: ‘We are extremely grateful to Mark for his ongoing and generous support. His gift will enable us to reach many more vulnerable children. Speaking to fans at his concert also helped raise awareness of our work in areas such as child poverty and young carers.’
