Storewars for Street star
Julia Haworth, who plays Coronation Street character Claire Peacock joined in with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP Storewars challenge before Christmas. Staff from the Manchester team of PricewaterhouseCoopers took over the operation of a Barnardo’s store in Altrincham for a day. In a bid to increase the sales and to raise as much money as possible for Barnardo’s, the Manchester team competed with teams from PricewaterhouseCoopers offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen.
Raffles, face painting, Santa costumes and Christmas decorations all helped spread festive cheer to the customers stocking up for last minute Christmas presents.
